At Bodega DiamAndes, everything is hand-picked, and hand-sorted. We apply the gravity flow concept to maximize the care for the grape, from the reception to the bottle.
The 2016 vintage at DiamAndes was marked by a cold winter, with big snows in the Andean range. Along with these winter conditions, we must stand out that this year was influenced by the "El Niño" effect.
The conditions of spring and summer also were accompanied by cooler days than usual achieving lower average temperatures. This situation was a delay in all phenological stages 15 to 20 days from bud break to the harvest.
Bodega DiamAndes was honored to be one of the hosts for the World’s Best Sommelier Contest 2016, in Mendoza last April.
